Sun 9th "Emergency - First Aid Care - Hours from Help" course Day 1 (of 2) Run by Immediate Temporary Care, meets the requirements of all outdoor national governing bodies. It will be held over two days, Sunday 9th July and Sunday 16th July - venue still to be confirmed. Currently there are some places remaining, priority will go to SROC members but the course is also open to other NW club members. The course is being subsidised by BOF club development funds and NWOA, cost per person will depend on the number of attendees but is not likely to be greater than £50. If you're interested please get in touch with Sarah Watkins.

Dalton Crags.  Parking at SD551761.  1 hr score event with a slight twist.  Mass Start 2pm.  Registration from 1 to 1.45pm.  Allow a 15 minute walk to the start.  Organiser and Planner Sarah Watkins and Jon Carberry.  Please bring a contribution to the food, as well as cutlery and crockery suitable to serve your offerings to others (plastic cutlery is available for eating with).  Please also note that we won't be providing water after the event so make sure you bring enough to drink, especially if it's hot.

Thu 20th Fundraising Events for Lancashire Wildlife Trust.
One of a series of three Trail Races on Thursday evenings on 18th May, 22nd June, 20th July at 7.30pm around Cuerden Valley Park, Bamber Bridge (off J29 of M6, next to Sue Ryder Care) postcode PR5 6BY. These events are fundraisers for The Wildlife Trust. Entry on night only. Parking, refreshments. Changing facilities (one shower – you’ll have to run fast!!).  10km measured route, mostly good tracks, across one field.
