Orienteering
My First Event - After The Event
What happens after the finish ?
If the event's using e-cards then you will need to download your times. The download
point should be clearly marked. You will be given a printout with your split times and
final time.
Tip. Don't forget to return your e-card if you
hired one !
If the events not using e-cards then there's nothing more to do.
Will there be any results ?
Most clubs post provisional results at each event. The popularity of the web and the
introduction of e-cards have meant that results are often available on the internet on a
Sunday evening. Otherwise, results will be posted at a later date.
Tip. If results are being posted, then you might
have to fill out a results envelope at registration to guarantee you receive a copy.
Is there anything else to be aware of ?
If you've enjoyed yourself, keep a look out for future event details. It's quite common
for clubs staging future events to leave flyers near registration or the results.

As promised, here's the Microsoft
Word file for you to download . . .
