Comments
Thanks to all those who braved the rain. The
weather was bad but it could have been worse. It did stop raining for the
majority of the 75 minute course and only started raining again once Nat & Harri returned just inside their (unplanned) 2 hour course.
A great run from Quentin who completed the
3 highest scoring sets and hence earned 127 bonus points. Quentin was also one
of only 7 competitors who got back within their estimated time and hence
avoided penalties of 50 points per minute. The penalties were high but there
were a lot of points on offer and I also wanted to ensure everyone got back
before the gates shut on the car park. Just failed on that
latter point.
Everyone seemed to enjoy the slight
variation to the street league. Apologies to everyone who spent time looking
for 21, the sign has been removed, and 35 where the control
circle was slightly out. I’ve allowed everyone who visited these two
controls the points.
