SROC league notes 2008 |

The committee has looked into the anomaly that existed between adults and
juniors and made a few changes. We will trial these for 2008. After that
things may change again as the classification of all adult’s events and
courses may change. A member of SROC may only win one trophy- this will now apply for adults and juniors. This trophy will usually be their ‘correct’ age class, although if they do not win this they may win the trophy of another class. This should not discourage those who wish to run up eg a junior wishing to try the course of a higher age group or an adult wanting a longer and perhaps more challenging run. More details may follow from the statistician on scoring but for adults we will continue to use the National rankings. This makes it easy to keep an eye on your progress. |
