SROC Street League
An explanation of the League Tables
The basis of this year’s scoring has already been described
in the SROC newsletter and on the website (“About Street League”). To recap:
- Best 5 scores (out of the maximum of 10) to count
- For Organisers, one of these scores to be an average of their best
four scores (their “Organiser’s points”)
- No separate results according to length of course. This allows
people the flexibility of running a different course sometimes (e.g.
because of late arrival or injury) without penalising their overall
result.
- Each competitor’s actual points are standardised by converting to
points per hour, and then expressed relative to the highest scorer, who
receives 100 points. (This overcomes differences in points available between
events.)
- This data then provides the basis for the Gross Scores League Table.
- Application of an age/sex factor, based on BOF information, then
produces the Age Adjusted League
Table
As a minimum, awards will be made at the end of the season
to
- Leading man, woman and pair
on the Gross Scores League Table
- Leading man, woman and pair on the Age Adjusted League Table
One person, one award.
