The moon came out and there was no wind so an ideal night for a bit of Street O. Sue and I hope everyone enjoyed it. My window scheduled for getting out to update the map fully and give you all a real challenge from the new starting point was shut when I developed chest pain whilst running in October, so you had to make do with a rehash of controls from the previous three events, using those that I could check from the car or were only a short walk. This was not ideal, especially for those not wishing to venture too far and I couldn't really use the really dark places, but there was little I could do about it. Wait 'til next time when I'm back; I'll give you a real challenge!

There seemed to be some confusion about the directions from the South, so I checked on the website and I checked the text I supplied; a vital line of text is missing on the web so has got lost on being uploaded, just like those of you trying to follow them! This was out of my control, unfortunately. In future a Grid reference might be better?

Don't miss the next event organised by Bill and Dawn Lock 01253 721514

It's at the STRAWBERRY GARDENS pub on POULTON ROAD in FLEETWOOD on the 11th of JANUARY.

The Grid Ref. is 331 477.

Many thanks to all who took part with such great spirit, to Ian Evans who stepped in as back-p in case I didn’t make it out of hospital on Tuesday and to Peter Knott and Sue and Martyn Roome for offering to help.

An extra special word of thanks must go to Ian for all the work he has done over the years to develop the Street League, in many ways it’s all been down to him. Many thanks, Ian.

Season's Greetings to all Street Leaguers everywhere.

If there are any queries I'll hang on to the score sheets until Jan 31st when they will go in the recycling bin.
