Planners Thanks and Comments

Thanks for coming along all the way to Fleetwood.  The new venue at the Strawberry Gardens provided good facilities and was well-received and, as the weather was fine and there weren’t any seriously disputed controls, the evening can be considered a success. (There were times on that post box two weeks ago.  Honest!)

Congratulations to Rowena on winning the Tower Trophy for most points per minute after adjustments for age, gender, shoe size etc.

Paul Turner had an excellent run just missing out on a 1,000 maximum by leaving a ten pointer alone and Claire Addy’s 567 net is impressive for a novice.

Thanks to Peter for his help with his first event as temporary co-ordinator and to Ian for all he has done over so many years to keep SROC street-o thriving and developing into a popular sport in its own right.

See you at the next event on 25th January at Longridge Sports Centre, GR 601 369.
