Apologies
John
Our thanks to
John and Maureen for again providing an excellent event on yet another new
area. As ever, it was interestingly
different, and one which blew away your strategy plans honed on town centre
choices. Just a pity they cannot
organize the weather up country as well as we do on the coastal plain ! Still it could have been even trickier,
imagine some of those steep footpaths with a few inches of snow and ice.
I believe our
newcomers from PFO enjoyed the experience.
I trust we will see them again at Clitheroe ( and next season ) to build
on the good relationship between our two clubs.
The League
Tables, to follow, show the usual suspects will again take most of the
prizes. If you feel you deserve a
souvenir glass paper-weight and wish to buy one for yourself, then please let
me know this week before I place our order. Price approx £ 7.50p. I am mailing all probable winners to find
their choice between wine or paper-weight ( or their other suggestion ) .
I will be
grateful for provisional offers for next season’s events at our remaining
fixtures.
