Planner's Comments
Thank you all for travelling from far and wide to Lytham. I trust you
enjoyed your runs on a very mild evening. There were compliments for the
Lytham C.C. venue - in particular the range of beers which received more
praise than the event - and to my great relief there were no disputed
controls, and the L.C.C. was pleased with the extra bar takings, so all
was well.
I'd like to pick out two of the ladies for special mention. They are
Karen, who's in great 'O' form at present, for winning the 60 minutes
course and also Glenys who excelled herself by seeming to fly round.
Thanks to Ian for his usual generous help at all stages of the event and
Dawn for checking the controls (after her own run a few days before) and
being registrar on the night.
Bill Lock.
A particular welcome to our new visitors: John Kewley, Chris Packman, and
Darrel Smith. We hope you enjoyed the evening, and that we will see you
again at some of our future events. The next event is Sarah’s first
event as SROC club captain, and nearly someones birthday – be there !.
Ian Evans
