Organiser's Comments:
Note: the age given is that of your BOF age in 2004, ie your age at your Birthday in 2004.
Please check we have it correct for the season.
There are no comments from Keith and David. So I will thank them on behalf of all of us for an excellent and well organized event. The Sports Centre is an excellent venue, good changing facilities, and virtually a private bar adjacent to our room. Our use of the ‘Emergency Exit whilst a little draughty for David and Keith, was much more convenient than sharing the main door with the normal customers. However finding the correct door when I finished was my most troublesome control!

Welcome to our two new participants, Elisa Niemi from Finland & Lancaster Univ. , and Andy Quickfall from Chorley. I think Andy was with us mainly for a Nicky Nook Schools Event controllers meeting, but I hope he will return for more of our events. He overtook me twice between 38 and 37, as he went back via the main road not realizing that the footpath was a way though to the sports ground gate. Previous knowledge does help a bit, and also in Street it is usually worth trying out a footpath where linking up looks like a possible reason for the paths existence.

It was also good to see Catherine back in action with Liz as her minder. She reports that Samuel is well, and was being looked after by Moz. I hope we will see them both in action once the baby-minding problem is sorted out.

Ali, Paul, and John B continued as they finished last season. Team Ashton put up one of the best pairs performances ever. They must have agreed about all the decisions! Mike and Mary have started well, and in Team Nash, Chris must have scored an all time best for a M8. Well done Chris.

I was very impressed with CompassPoints’ digital wallclock that David was using, it makes for an easier start when everyone sees the time clearly. I have now bought a slightly smaller and cheaper version for our Street use. I hope self starting using the clock and without any pre-view time will now be standard.
