2 roles within 1 really ( the job could be easily split if one volunteer could not be found to do both parts)
Membership:
First point of enquiry by post, phone, email or web
Respond to enquiries, send out membership forms
Pass cheques to treasurer and sent out new member packs
Send out membership renewals for Local members and Friends
Maintain and update membership file as necessary ( Access database)
Produce membership list for all members annually
Produce address labels for bi-monthly newsletter
Welcome new members in newsletter and list changes of details for others
Admin.:
Produce agendas and minutes for Committee meetings and AGM
Send these to all committee, plus newsletter and web
Publish AGM details in newsletter and web (July for Sept)
Attend meetings and take minutes
Receive mail from BOF and NWOA, forward to others as necessary
Keep file of constitution, past minutes and agendas, role of committee posts etc.
