Virtual Orienteering Courses - real orienteering in the forest using phone apps

If you want some local outdoor activity which is fun for all the family then try one of our Virtual Orienteering Courses using the GPS based MapRunF or MapRunG (for Garmin watches) apps. Information on using MapRun on the British Orienteering website here.
Navigate your way around the course with paper map and get a beep from your phone or watch when you successfully arrive at the control points.
We also have iOrienteering courses at Duxbury Woods, Chorley. Again you use a paper map, but scan physical QR codes at each checkpoint.
The GPS tracks, app and paper maps are all FREE!

Please remember, that at the present time you can only use these courses if they are local to you, within the meaning of the Covid Regulations.
