Thanks for coming to the 6th New Year Cracker. The 2 hail storms we had were only short, so I don't think they spoilt Steve McLeans' excellent courses. Dalton Crag Wood is certainly testing and technical, punishing small mistakes by its low visibility and, in places, runnability.
The worthy prize winners were:
M14-    William Pickles
W14-    Martha Pickles
M18-    James Anthony SROC
W18-    Alison Fryer LOC
M55+    Charles Nelson HOC
W55+    Carol McNeil LOC
Men Open    Ed Nash LOC
Women Open    Rebecca Roberts SROC
Best newcomer    Thomas Selby SROC

If those who did not collect their prizes on the day contact me on martyn@adasmroome.demon.co.uk then we can arrange a handover (if I have not eaten them that is!)

Special mentions must also be made of the Lawrence Jordan party and Stephanie and William Edwards who tackled the difficult Short Tech with much perseverance and success.
