Classic urban park, outdoor theatre, complex path network and stunning views!
Prologue and finals suitable for all ages.
Parking in main car park (£1.00 from 5.30) accessed from Wyresdale Road, Lancaster LA1 3DY GR : SD 487 611
Event assembly, start and finish all at north side of the Ashton Memorial, at the centre of park. GR : SD 488 614 Follow signs for cafe / Butterfly house. Access via main drive from car park. Hopefully enjoy fine views across to the Lake District. Kit dump available at registration. Williamson Park has steep slopes that are slippery when wet, variable vegetation, and impassable crags usually protected by fences. Shoe, clothing and route choice can be affected by the weather on the day. Be prepared!
