South East Lancashire Orienteering Club and Pendle Forest Orienteering Club  are looking to use the services of a self employed Level 2 coach to work in the North Manchester and South East Lancashire area.

This is a part-time position funded for three years and is part of the Club and Coach  project.

The Level 2 coach will be responsible for:

• Coordinating the planning, running orienteering in nominated secondary schools with the view to developing school orienteering clubs and club, school links.
• Developing and mentoring new Level 1 coaches and developing Young Leaders
• Sharing ideas and good practice with other coaches in the two regions
• Monitoring participation and membership and reporting back to SELOC and PFO committees
• Working with volunteers to develop the coaching infrastructure for orienteering in the local area

 Salary: £9600+ depending on commitment
