Harvester Relays 2008
Hi everyone
Just back from the British relays but it’s time to think about the Harvester relays. For those not in the know – these are the night-time relays, starting around 10pm – 12am and finishing somewhere around 6am. This year they’re taking place on the night of the 17th/18th May near High Wycombe. There are two classes and a handicap system but we either need a team of 5 or a team of 7 – full details of the course lengths (4 – 12 km), technical difficulty (ranges from 3 – 5) and approximate running conditions (i.e. dark, light or dawn) can be found at: http://www.splitsbrowser.org.uk/harvester/entrydetails.htmlWe can probably find enough high power head torches for people to borrow so don’t let not having a decent head torch put you off. I’ve had expressions of interest from the Harding family (4), Chris Roberts and Steve Mclean – would anyone else like to run? It is possible to have a junior team on the 5 person class. The closing date is the 3rd May so it would be useful if you could let me know if you’d like to run by this coming Sunday (27th April). Please email the Club Captain.Best wishes Sarah Last Updated : 23.04.08 |
