For people new to organising orienteering events, or for those people who just need to have a refresh, there is a new page on this website that covers some very useful information for organisers (and some for planners too).  Why not check it out if only to see what is available for when you do organise something!

By popular demand, a cycle ride is proposed on Sunday 14th May - courtesy of Mary Wheeler and Mike Ormerod. The proposed route is Ribblehead - Kingsdale - Dent Valley - Newby Moss - Ribblehead. Around 28 miles with a couple of climbs and good refreshment stops. If you are interested please reply to me, and we will get further details out of timings etc. Also, if you are interested but can't make that date let me know, as SROC hope to hold at least one other ride during the Summer.  And don't forget that the Wednesday evening runs can have a cycling alternative if people wish.
